DEDUCTIBLE FROM OUR BILLING MANAGER:

 

Our office will briefly walk you thru the Private Insurance billing process with special emphasizes regarding your insurance deductible. 

 

For Example, if your insurance carrier is a PPO company such as: Medicare, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna etc... you most likely have a deductible of $250 and up. 

 

What does this mean to you? 

 

As our patient and as an insured member of your plan, you are responsible to fulfill and pay your annual deductible amount.  If during any calendar year, you have not fully paid your medical deductibles, you, as a patient, must pay for any remaining amount before your insurance provider will pay towards your medical claim. 

 

For Example: 

 

Your annual PPO Insurance deductible amount is $500 

Patient seen 05/21

Medical Bill: $900; Insurance approves $300 for the medical visit applied towards your annual deductible. 

As Your preferred provider:  the office adjusts $600 off the medical claim, and you as the patient need to pay remaining: $300 in order to fulfill your annual deductible. 

 

Now, given the example above: the remaining annual deductible will be $200 until the full $500 deductible is met for the calendar year.
